I've used this first taco seasoning recipe for years to save money on my grocery budget. It saves lots of money as compared to those little one meal packages. It is a stronger version of the seasoning so less is required. My kids love tacos. They are a delicious and easy frugal recipe to serve. You provide the ingredients and toppings and let everyone make their own.
I've added some other taco seasoning recipes for those who want to compare and choose a favorite.
Mix all the ingredients, and store in an airtight container. This mix is twice as strong as store-bought mix, so add only half as much. - The Complete Tightwad Gazette
